Yesterday, Heartland employees and their families visited the Libertyville packing location for Feed My Starving Children to pack meals for hungry children all over the globe! As the team arrived they sat through a short orientation and instructional video. Afterward, they were broken up into groups and went to their volunteer locations to begin their work. Some of the groups were in charge of preparing the food bags, other groups were filling and packaging each of the food bags, and the remaining groups were stationed in the warehouse to help load boxes. It was an incredible group effort, and together the Heartland team helped to pack 70 boxes, for a total of 42,000 meals!
